The history of the mountains
”Like a cake of different rocks”
Halleberg and Hunneberg are two of Västergötland’s unique plateau mountains, like islands in the middle of the plain. They stand out from the usual landscape with their fascinating history and unique nature. Imagine the mountains as a cake made of different rocks, formed at the bottom of the sea hundreds of millions of years ago.
